What does ISO certified even mean?
ISO certification is a seal of approval that a company or organisation has met the requirements of a specific International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard.
Companies or organisations are not required to be ISO certified, but more of them are doing it to show that they are committed to quality, efficiency, and getting better all the time.
To get ISO certified, a company must have its systems audited by an accredited certification body. The auditor will check to make sure the company meets the requirements of the relevant ISO standard. If the company passes the audit, it will be granted ISO certification.
Only accredited certification bodies (CBs), also known as registrars, can grant ISO certification. Certification bodies are independent organisations that have been assessed and accredited to ensure that they meet the highest standards of competence and impartiality.

This is an international standard that sets out the requirements for an occupational health and safety management system. An occupational health and safety management system provides a framework for organisations to identify, manage, and control their risks, and to continually improve their performance in occupational health and safety.
